HYPERTENSION RELAXES WITH CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic adjustments have recently been proven to reduce-even eliminate-hypertension, also known as high blood pressure. This is good news for the 65 million Americans who currently struggle with the disease.Traditionally, many people with high blood pressure have turned to prescription drugs such as diuretics, beta blockers, and calcium channel blockers to provide a cure. But medication has not been able to defeat this disease. In many cases, medication has gone on to cause other health problems for hypertension sufferers. That's why it's important to first treat high blood pressure with safer, alternative therapies such as chiropractic. In a ground-breaking clinical study, presented at the 2006 annual meeting of the American Society of Hypertension, researchers gathered 50 patients with blood pressure greater than 140/90. The group was randomly divided into two groups for study purposes. Group One received regular chiropractic adjustments, and group two received a mock chiropractic adjustment. In just three weeks, the group that received chiropractic adjustments showed significant improvements in their blood pressure reading. After eight weeks, their systolic pressure averaged less than 130. In comparison, the group receiving mock adjustments noted no drop in blood pressure during the entire study. If you suffer from hypertension, it's time to put the power of regularly scheduled chiropractic adjustments-along with a healthy diet-into your lifestyle today.
